About the Role: Bob Casey for Senate is seeking an individual to join a growing digital team as our Deputy Digital Director for Content who will work with the Digital Director to develop and oversee content strategy, content creation, and platform management for the campaign.

This role will oversee a team managing social media accounts across platforms, photo and video production, and branding for the campaign. They will report to the Senior Advisor and will supervise digital team staff.

Responsibilities:

Design and execute goal-oriented content strategy to grow online following, meet messaging goals, and raise money via social media in coordination with the Senior Advisor
Manage the day-to-day operations of the digital content team, including platform management, influencer content, and content creation
Develop and oversee goal-oriented content calendars and approval processes across multiple social media platforms and accounts, including for rapid response moments
Manage social media platforms and coordinate content distribution, including copy, graphics, and video for social media efforts
Help develop a plan and the execution of campaign graphics, video, and other digital tactical programs fitting with campaign branding goals
Oversee the development of content for volunteer communities via Facebook, Slack, and/or other online platforms
Other responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

2+ cycles of experience creating content and/or managing social media accounts for a campaign, agency, or non-profit (“cycle” can mean primaries, specials, etc.);
Prior working experience writing, editing, and proofing digital content that drives action and maintains a consistent voice;
Prior working experience creating digital content for rapid response moments preferred;
Prior working experience with photography and audio/video editing is a plus;
Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
Attention to detail and enthusiasm for data-driven processes;
Dedication to being a team player and trying new things.

Salary Band: $7100 per month
Location: Philadelphia

Leave: Paid time off will be available per Campaign policy.
Hours: Full-time position. This position’s schedule will vary based on the needs of the campaign and point in the cycle, and is likely to require evening and weekend work over the course of the election cycle.
This is a bargaining unit position represented by IBEW Local 29.
